Tie Dye Shirts
For Families, Teams or Individuals
Tie Dye shirts are a fun way to put your own style on display. Dye Out allows you to style and design your own shirt. They have been used as travel shirts for special destinations, for bachelor/bachelorette parties, sports teams, event uniforms, children’s or teen parties. You can DIY the shirts as a great family or team building event or party (local Airdrie/Calgary only).
How it works:
1. Purchase your shirts (size 3 months to adult 3XL)j using the button.
2. After your purchase, you will be sent the link to book your session. Currently there are 3 options – March 30, 31, April 1 or April 6 in Airdrie (local home), April 8 in Calgary at the Marda Loop Easter Extravaganza Fair (Drop-in hours from 9am – 1pm – Marda Loop Community Centre), or April 29 & 30 at the Airdrie Home & Lifestyle Show (Drop-in hours from 10am – 4pm Genesis Place – Admission fee of $5 age 12 & over).
3. When you arrive to your session, your shirts will have already been soaking in the reactive solution. You will then fold and tie your shirt in the desired pattern using rubber bands or waxed sinew.
4. Next you will pick your colours and dye your shirts.
5. The shirts will be wrapped in plastic wrap individually for them to sit for a minimum of 24 hours.
6. You will be given a bag with your shirt, rubber gloves and instructions on how to finish processing the shirt.
7. After the shirt has been processed and dried, your can apply the iron-on image if you added it.
8. Enjoy your shirt and be sure to post on our social media.
Cost:
Adult Unisex Shirts (S – 3XL) $25 each
Youth (XS – XL) $20 each
Toddler (2T & 4T) $20 each
Infant Onesie (3, 6, 12 & 18 M) $20 each
Iron-on image (added after shirt is complete at home) $5 each

Dye Out is the fundraising arm of Leaders Can Foundation and Empowered Parents. Our mission is Creating Connections that Matter. We feel that making tie dye with your family or friends and waring it together is a great way to build connections. We have no other funding besides the fees for our programs and Dye Out Tie Dye Shirts. We greatly appreciate your support in helping us Create Connections that Matter.
